A man who has a large family sat at home one evening listening to his eight-year-old son read a Dr. Seuss book.  The father listened intensely and noticed how much his son really enjoyed the book.  Then, like an inspiration from the Holy Spirit, he thought:

"I want to create Catholic Children's  books similar  to  the  Dr.  Seuss  style  but which have Catholic values through which children can learn about their faith.  I want my children to want to read and enjoy such reading while looking at the pictures."

This man and other men with large families have been working hard to create the first in a line of Father Fox's Children's Books.  The first contains basic teachings on praying.  It has several characters with the main character being Father Fox, who is a priest but pictured as a cartoon fox.

The first, Ray Likes to Pray, is very colorful.  It is filled with important lessons on praying delivered in a wonderful rhyme scheme.  The creators of this first book hope to create future Father Fox's Children's Books soon with the hope that young children everywhere will grow up having fun discovering about their faith while learning to read.
